This is a linetest I did roughly 6 years ago in my second year of uni (I was 20 at the time). The project name was "emotional ties" so I chose the subject matter of my golden retreiver Danny who had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer and who unfortunatley passed away before I finished the film.
This is just one of the scenes from the unfinished film, most of which is still in animatic and rough pencil test form and I never went back to finish it, so this is the only part I intend to put up. The animation was keyframed and hand drawn, none of which was rotoscoped but I did use video reference of Dan as a puppy (and dogs in general) to help me animate him.
I do feel my animation skills have improved since I created this but I'm still proud of this animation, with all it's flaws, so I've put it up here for the world to see.
